Add your team
Invite employees, assign roles, and control their workspace access.
When To Use It
Use Team to add the people who work inside your agency and give them the access they need.
Team members can have roles such as:
- Manager
- Writer
- DOP
- Editor
- Designer
- Social Media Manager
- Other supported agency roles
A person can have more than one role when their responsibilities overlap.
How To Invite
- Open Team.
- Choose Invite Member.
- Enter the person's email.
- Select one or more roles.
- If assigning the CLIENT role, select the business client they represent.
- Send the invitation.
The invitation remains available until it is accepted, cancelled, declined, or expires.
First Login
The invited person should sign in using the same email address that received the invitation.
When the invitation is accepted, AGENCIE creates or activates their membership in the agency workspace with the assigned roles.
Their workspace navigation and available actions are determined by those roles.
CLIENT Users
CLIENT is different from an internal agency role.
When inviting someone as a CLIENT, you must also select the business client they represent.
After the invitation is accepted, their membership is linked to that business client and their access is scoped accordingly.
For primary client contacts, you can also send this invitation directly while creating the business client instead of inviting them separately from Team.
Team Directory
Internal agency members can access the Team directory according to their workspace access.
Lower internal roles may see the agency team as a read-only directory so they know who they are working with.
Read-only users cannot:
- Invite members
- Edit roles
- Remove members
- Manage invitations
Seeing the Team directory does not grant Team management permissions.
Managing Team Access
Team management actions depend on the current user's role.
In the current access model:
- OWNER can manage team members, roles, invitations, and member removal.
- ADMIN can manage invitations but does not receive all Owner role-management controls.
- MANAGER can invite members and manage permitted role changes, but does not receive all Owner controls.
- Other internal roles use Team as a read-only directory where available.
Additional protections prevent unsafe role changes, including protected Owner access.
Role Changes
Authorized users can update the roles of an existing team member.
No new invitation is sent when changing the roles of someone who is already an active member.
If an existing member is changed to CLIENT, the business client they represent must also be selected.
Removing the CLIENT role removes the client association when it is no longer required.
Multiple Roles
A person can have multiple roles.
For example:
Writer + Editor
or:
DOP + Editor
AGENCIE combines the access available through the user's internal roles.
CLIENT associations are handled separately so legitimate internal roles are not unintentionally restricted to client-only access.
Give people the roles they actually need. Roles affect navigation, available actions, assignments, and workspace access throughout AGENCIE.
