Add your first client
Create your first business client, capture brand context, and optionally invite their primary contact.
What This Is
A client in AGENCIE represents a business your agency works with.
The client record also acts as a shared playbook for your team, keeping important context such as audience, brand voice, business goals, social platforms, approval preferences, and working notes in one place.
Fastest Flow
- Open Clients.
- Choose Create Client.
- Enter the required client details.
- Add the primary contact name and email.
- Add useful brand context such as target audience, brand voice, and content goals.
- Choose whether to invite the primary contact to AGENCIE.
- Save the client.
Primary Contact
Every new business client requires a primary contact name and email.
The primary contact represents the main person your agency works with for that business.
Additional contacts can be added or managed separately where supported.
Invite The Client
Invite primary contact to the client portal is enabled by default.
When enabled, AGENCIE creates a CLIENT invitation linked to the new business client.
After accepting the invitation, the client user receives access scoped to the business client they represent.
They do not receive agency-wide client access.
If the primary contact does not need AGENCIE access yet, disable the invitation option before creating the client.
What Happens Next
After creation, the client becomes available throughout relevant agency workflows, including:
- Campaigns
- Gigs and work orders
- Content and production context
- Workflow
- Publishing schedules
- Calendar
The client record becomes the shared context connecting business information with the work your agency performs.
What To Fill First
You do not need to complete the entire Client Playbook during onboarding.
Start with the information your team needs to begin work, such as:
- Client name
- Primary contact
- Industry or business context
- Target audience
- Brand voice
- Content goals
- Relevant social platforms
You can expand the Client Playbook as your agency learns more about the business.
Client vs Client User
These are separate concepts in AGENCIE:
Business Client → The company or brand your agency works with
Client Contact → A person associated with that business
CLIENT User → A person with an AGENCIE account whose access is scoped to that business client
Creating the business client does not automatically turn every contact into an AGENCIE user.
Capture enough context for the team to begin useful work. The Client Playbook can grow as the relationship and campaigns develop.
