What It Is
Publishing Schedule is the campaign's calendar of planned content.
Each publishing slot represents a piece of content expected to go live on a particular platform, date, and time.
A slot can include:
- Platform
- Publishing date and time
- Status
- Linked content
- Notes
- Published URL
- Publishing result
Common States
Publishing slots can move through states such as:
- Planned — The publishing slot has been created.
- Ready — The linked content is ready for publishing.
- Scheduled — Publishing has been scheduled.
- Published — The content has gone live.
- Missed — The planned publishing time was missed.
- Cancelled — The publishing slot is no longer required.
From Schedule To Production
A publishing slot can be connected to the content production process.
Publishing slot → Content asset → Workflow → Production tasks → Ready to publish → Published
This allows Agencie to connect what was planned with the actual production status of the content.
Content Status
When a publishing slot is linked to content, Agencie can use the production state to help show whether the content is ready, still in progress, at risk, missed, or published.
This gives the team visibility into publishing commitments without separating the schedule from the work required to fulfill them.
Calendar
Scheduled publishing activity can also appear in Calendar, giving team members a time-based view of upcoming campaign work.
Calendar visibility follows the user's workspace and client access.
Mark Published
When content goes live, mark the publishing slot as Published.
Add the published URL when available so the campaign retains a record of where the final content was published.
Client Access
CLIENT users can access publishing information only for campaigns belonging to the business client they represent.
They cannot access publishing schedules belonging to another business client.
Editing Access
Being able to view a publishing schedule does not automatically allow a user to modify it.
Creating, editing, generating production from, or changing the status of publishing slots depends on the user's role and permissions.
